Yumaro is a dream journal with optional AI interpretation, images, fortune readings, community posts, purchases, and ads.

What we collect

  • Account. An anonymous guest ID, or an email and password if you create or link an account. Display name and bio if you add them.
  • Dreams and fortunes. Dream text, mood, lucidity, titles, AI interpretations, chat about a dream, and fortune readings you request (coffee, tarot, dream fortune, numerology).
  • Photos. Images you choose to create from a dream, a coffee-cup photo if you use coffee fortune, and an optional face photo if you upload one. The camera is used only when you pick that feature.
  • Community. Posts, comments, display name, and bio you publish. AI notes are not attached to a public post unless you put them there yourself.
  • Usage. Analytics events and crash logs used to keep Yumaro working.
  • Notifications. A device token if you turn reminders on.
  • Purchases. Premium status through Google Play / the App Store and RevenueCat. We do not see your full card number.

Why we collect it

We use this data to run your journal, generate titles and interpretations, show fortunes, save images you requested, operate the community, send reminders you enabled, process Premium, show ads to free users, and fix crashes.

Who else sees data

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push messages.
  • OpenAI — dream or fortune text and images you submit are sent to generate a title, interpretation, or reading. Do not write information you would not want processed for that purpose.
  • Google AdMob — ads for free users. On iOS, tracking for personalized ads is optional and asked separately.
  • RevenueCat — subscription status.

Dreams you do not share stay private to your Yumaro account. Community posts are visible to other Yumaro users. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account data until you delete the related items or the account. You can delete individual dreams in the app at any time. Shared posts and their comments are removed when you delete the post. After an account deletion request we remove the account and associated user data, generally within 30 days. Store purchase records stay with Google Play or Apple as required by those stores.

Your choices

  • Use Yumaro as a guest, or link an email so you do not lose the journal.
  • Leave a dream unshared. Sharing is always a separate action.
  • Turn reminders off in Profile.
  • Upgrade to Premium for an ad-free session.
  • Delete dreams or the whole account in Profile → Delete account.

Account deletion

You can delete your Yumaro account and associated data in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on the web, without signing in to the app: https://reverie.rindale.com/account-deletion/.

Deleting the account removes the login, profile, dreams, interpretations, uploaded photos, community posts and comments, and notification tokens we store. It is not the same as cancelling Premium — manage subscriptions in Google Play or the App Store.

Children

Yumaro is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child below that age.

Not medical advice

Interpretations and fortunes in Yumaro are for reflection and entertainment. They are not diagnosis, therapy, or medical advice.
