Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Reverie stores, why, and what you can delete. Reverie is a dream journal with optional AI interpretation, images, community posts, purchases, and ads.

What we store

  • Account. An anonymous guest ID, or an email and password if you create or link an account.
  • Dreams. The text you write, mood, lucidity, titles, and any AI interpretation you generate.
  • Images. Dream cards you choose to create, stored so you can share them later.
  • Community. Posts, comments, display name, and bio you publish. AI notes are not attached to a public post unless you put them there yourself.
  • Usage. Analytics events and crash logs used to keep the product working.
  • Notifications. A device token if you turn reminders on.
  • Purchases. Premium status through the store and RevenueCat — we do not see your full card number.

Who else sees data

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push messages.
  • OpenAI — dream text is sent to generate a title and interpretation. Do not write information you would not want processed for that purpose.
  • Google AdMob — ads for free users. On iOS, tracking for personalized ads is optional and asked separately.
  • RevenueCat — subscription status.

Dreams you do not share stay private to your account. Community posts are visible to other Reverie users.

How long

We keep account data until you delete the related dreams or the account. You can delete individual dreams in the app at any time. Shared posts and their comments are removed when you delete the post.

Your choices

  • Use the app as a guest, or link an email so you do not lose the journal.
  • Leave a dream unshared. Sharing is always a separate action.
  • Turn reminders off in Profile.
  • Upgrade to Premium for an ad-free session.

Children

Reverie is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child below that age.
